July 2009 - Ross Davies returns to Nepal on the 12th July
for the UN FAO to implement HACCP systems for Valley Coldstores
Limited in Kathmandu.
July 2009 - Ross Davies, Taoufik Elidrissi, Dr Mohamed
Elamien with the help of recognised Islamic scholars have developed
a comprehensive training programme to raise competencies of New
Zealand Halal slaughtermen. This project is supported by the NZITO
and NZMIA.
June 2009 - Owen Mills and Ross Davies will work with
the NZITO to develop Unit Standards from the already popular Meat
Diploma Bridging course.
May 2009 - Ross Davies meets with Dr Jim Edwards of World
Veterinary Consultants to explore collaborative projects in
the educational and animal welfare areas.

meeting in Wellington.

March 2009 - Ross Davies carries out a benchmarking exercise
for the School of Engineering and Advanced Technology (SEAT),
Massey University.
February 2009 - Isabel Beattie completes her TIF project
with AEL on 20th of February. During her time with the company
she was able to contribute to a range of projects. AEL has been
pleased with her contribution.
February 2009 - Ross Davies addresses the Meat Industry
Association Council on training matters. With particular reference
to the Diploma in Meat Technology.
January 2009 - Ross Davies addresses the Northern Ireland
Trade Mission hosted by the British Consulate on issues relating
to the development of capability along the meat industry value
chain
January 2009 - AEL's new website for the Moodle training
platform has been launched and is called "Jumpstart".
This site will ultimately be the repository for all AELs Unit
Standard assessments and the Meat Diploma Bridging course.
January 2009 - AEL commits to Moodle as its new training
and assessment delivery platform. Work commenced to transfer from
the Massey University WebCT environment.

(3) month secondment to Nepal for FAO UN, based in Kathmandu and
returning 7th of June. He will be working on the "Community
Livestock Development Project"

April 2007 - The Riddet Centre, Massey University has
contracted AEL to undertake an investigation into market opportunities
for a variety of blood extractions and products. Dr Owen Mills
will undertake this work for AEL.
April 2007 - Dr Brian Wilkinson and Dr Owen Mills have
joined AEL as contracted Associates of
the Company.
April 2007 - Lean Meats Limited has entered into an agreement
with AEL to provide 'Third Party Technical Management'. AEL will
be providing input into technical aspects of the Company's business

Ross Davies is accredited to design and evaluate thermal processes

to Chile as part of the development of the P4 Trade agreement.
May 2006 - Ross Davies and Walter Glass agree to split
the business of Corporate Logistics Limited. Walter has continued
with the CLL name and the compliance business moved to AEL with
Ross.
