Risk Management Programmes and the APA 1999
RMP Evaluation - For industries that rely on the conversion
of animals and animal products into food for the purposes of trade,
the Animal Products Act 1999 mandates that they develop Risk Management
Programmes (RMPs). These RMPs require evaluation by accredited
evaluators before they can be registered.
Ross Davies,
and John Puanaki
have been accredited by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority
(NZFSA), to carry out evaluations.
In addition Achieve Enterprises Limited calls on other consultants
to provide technical expertise and experience in meat processing
to the evaluation process.
RMP Development - Achieve Enterprises Limited has the
capability and resource available to develop risk management programmes
should a company decide not to take on the task themselves. It
can, on behalf of the company, manage the RMP process through
to final registration with NZFSA.
